Melania Petrillo's 1 to 1 Singing Lessons

Face-to-face lessons are held in a professional soundproof recording studio.
The lessons are suitable for singing lovers and professionals at all stages, from beginners to advanced level; providing from basic music theory knowledge to professional vocal skills and can be taught in English, Italian, and Chinese.

My singing classes main goals are as follow:
- helping the student to discover and train his/her own voice
- helping the student to find the proper voice balance, voice resonance and the tone quality in the voice.
- training the student to become a great performer
- working on different singing styles and techniques (mix, belting, opera)
- working on harmonization, backing vocals, improvisation
- helping the student on the creation of a repertoire
- working on interpretation and stage performance
- preparing and supporting singers for lives and tours
- preparing the student for the ABRSM and Trinity exams, for admission in schools, academies and universities.

My motto is: 'Play with your voice, break the barriers and don't be afraid. Be patient, work hard constantly and committed'.

I apply the Italian 'Bel canto' technique together with the modern mix technique according to the curriculum of the speech level singing and the Institute for Vocal Advancement. The students after working with me are not only singers but also good performers and musicians. Moreover, they will have many opportunities to perform on stage and to record songs with a professional sound engineer.
